New River is an area for those who enjoy a rural lifestyle in the Sonoran Desert with lots of wildlife. Located just north of Phoenix, New River is not far from the big city. The area has beautiful open skies with clean air and star filled skies at night.

New River Real Estate comes in many shapes and sizes ranging from small mobile homes to large ranch properties. Every lot is at least 1 acre in size or bigger and you will get a great deal on a home considering the price per square foot. Ground water can be spotty or hard to find in some areas, but very abundant in others. Your Realtor should know the good and bad areas if they are considering buying a house with a well. However, getting hauled water is always an option anywhere in the New River Area.

Although you are in a rural area, amenities are not too far away. The city of Anthem is only 10-15 minutes away from many parts of New River. The town of New River (if you can call it that) has a few restaurants, a chiropractor, a gas station, and few other small stores. People don’t go to New River for the town, but rather they go for the rural lifestyle this area provides.

The Sonoran Desert in New River is truly beautiful with many Foothills and Mountains. A large amount of the surrounding area is State Trust Land and National Forest. Daisy Mountain separates New River from Anthem and is generally the mountain range seen to the west. There are many hiking trails around Daisy Mountain as well as lots of wildlife.
